Cusanelli`s in Saint Louis

The owner isn't very kind, especially behind the scenes. Witnessed an employee cry a few years back.

The appetizers were delicious but my salad was horrible. The lettace was like frozen and wilted. I was not impressed

I have loved this place for many years and still do the salads and garlic bread are always good just wish the prices weren't so high!

Best pizza in st Louis hands down

Hadn't been here in awhile. Glad we re-discovered them. Good food at reasonable prices. Casual atmosphere.

Ask for the pizza to be cooked all the way, very doughy. Also, $9 for 5 small chicken wings was ridiculous. I don't think I'll visit here again.

Needs significant changes to pick up system. Call and order with hour and a half time until ready... then you have to wait in line 30+ minutes upon arrival. THEN order was incorrect. Seriously?

Took an hour and 20 min to get food. They served us horrible little frozen food section onion rings. But then we saw somebody else get better looking restaurant style onion rings. Building was historical and beautiful though, and they had what looked to be a 20 top sat right before we were. May have been the issue. Overall disappointed.

My sister and husband and brother and my husband and I aways visit Cusanelli's on Christmas Eve. It has been our tradition over many years since my son first started working there when in highschool. We love the atmosphere and food. Hopefully, this restaurant will not go downhill and close

I've been going to Cusanelli's since I was a kid. It's wonderful!

It took over an hour for the main course. My salad was mostly brown lettuce! The fried food was bar quality.

Ordered spaghetti and meatballs. Meatballs tasted great;however, no red sauce. Plain noodles and meatballs is so appetizing. Very disappointed.

I am new to the area and was excited to try a new place. The service was at minimum, ok. The waitress did not listen well and brought me the wrong salad dressing, forgot my side of vegetables and then brought them in a bowl of cold water with a glop of butter that i was unable to mix together due to them being cold. They also "ran out" of mashed potatoes...at 7:00pm on Valentines Day, (with only five people total in the restaurant?), yet had baked potatoes as an option still. The food was alright, but for $85, it should have been excellent. Also, the atmosphere was very strange. No music, but the people in the kitchen and the staff in the back seemed to be having the time of their lives. Very awkward and not customer oriented at all. Will not be back.

Excellent service from the employees!! Very clean environment and the pricing is quite reasonable. Excellent Tortellini in White sauce is hard to find and this restaurant has became one of my favorites for Tortellini. They also have awesome Fried Chicken. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a casual afternoon lunch or a late night dinner. They offer a dining room to eat in and a carry-out window set up specifically for "to - go orders". Wonderful food, employees, service and cleanliness.

Had to wait 45 minutes past our reservation. Bad food and service! Won't be going back ever!!

Only went 1x, but the flavor and texture of the strombolli was perfect. They coated the crust with butter? Then sprinkled with parmesan cheese which gave it great flavor. I love that it was cut in slices and served on the cooking pan. Nice and hot. Going back soon.

Just left because we waited 10 minutes and no one came to get a drink or food order. No one came and said I will be right with you. We were sitting it the bar area dining. The bar was full the other side dining room had a few tables. Very poor customer and this coming from someone who used to work for the original owners Dan Cusanelli this would never happen if he still owned it. Over the years I have seen several owners run this place into the ground.

Food was delicious! Family owned and run nice Italian place. We will be back...

It's was very delicious and the waitress was super friendly I would tell anyone to eat here this is my once a month eat out date night place

My family always loved Two Nice Guy's but the eventually closed and we have never found anyone else who made a thin crust pizza like theirs with two kinds of cheeses. Well Cusanelli's is as close as we have found and they only use one kind of cheese but the flavor of the pizza is really good. My cousin came to town so I wanted to surprise her with a treat and took her to Cusanelli's for dinner one night. She was surprised and excited to find something that rivaled TNG's! So whenever they come to visit we will always go to Cusanelli's at least once but probably twice. They have other delicious foods too but a really good pizza is hard to find. I highly recommend Cusanelli's to anyone who likes Italian food as they have a diverse menu.

We waited almost two hours for our food only for the waitress to tell us they had lost our ticket. The waitress (Kim) was very respectful but we aren't sure if she continued to check on our order, therefore we can only go off of what we know. However, Kim came over and gave us a $20 gift certificate for our troubles. The manager never came over once to ask us about our experience nor did they give us the gift card that was issued by them specifically. Overall unsure of the food because we never received it, but the waitress was pretty good while the management was awful.

Cusanelli's has been a part of my live seems like forever. Their steaks and pixzas are the best.💝

The food was good but i ordered Cajan pasta with chicken and it was so misleading. There was nothing Cajun about it. There wasn't even black pepper to make it appear dark or to give it a kick! If it were marketed as Alfredo pasta with chicken I would have been pleased. The service was good however, I think they were a bit overwhelmed with the crowd that night.

A Lemay institution. Off the beaten path, but worth a visit for solid Italian. Some of the best pizza in town and my wife likes their different pasta dishes.Definitely showing its age and a little dingy, but kind of adds to the ambiance. That, combined with minor issues with prompt service is the reason I took away a star. Price is very reasonable for what you get.They have a parking lot right next door that should be big enough for a crowded night, but I don't think they ever get too crowded.

The food is great but they need work on there customer service!! Has really gone down hill!

Came here for a night out with friends and wanted great pizza, and we certainly were not disappointed. We had a few appetizers, salad, and two great pizzas. Or server was super sweet and very attentive and or fitted came out hot. Great time overall!

Nice Italian restaurant that's been around for a long time. One of the best pizzas in the area and they have other great food too. If you're around Lemay/Bayless area I suggest stopping by this historical restaurant.

We waited nearly 1.5 hours before walking out without ever receiving our food (and starving). Our server was kept saying there was a mix up and our food would be out soon. We gave up and left. Never again...

The food is excellent especially the pizza

This place has been in lemay forever!!! The building is older and the dining area is on the small side. They do have an area for parties and large groups upstairs. They also have a bar separate from the dining area. The food is always good. I love the provel cheese pizza. The kids got to eat for $1 including a drink and ice cream. The service was also top notch. It's a family owned business with good quality food.

Awesome service great food

The fettuccine alfreado was horrible (watery, lacked flavor). I got shrimp added. It looked like that tiny shrimp that is in ramen noodles. Thought that it would be at least normal sized shrimp. The only reason that I gave a 3 star rating is that I've had the pizza before and it was very good. The service was very slowly.

My sister and brother in law and had dinner here at 5pm. The service was great. Clean, pleasant waitress. Pizza crust was soggy in spots...could have been cooked a bit longer, but then these would have been really burnt. Very good, in other words! Took home leftovers. Will be back. Been coming here for years! Highly recommend!

Great menu selection and phenomonal food! Cocktails are fantastic, reasonable prices on everything. Terrific atmosphere and service impeccable!

They were extremely short handed so I won't knock the service bc they could only do such with a dining room full of people. However the appetizers you could obviously tell were from a freezer bag. Good prices. The pizza was alright but not to wait an hour for. I love old mom and pop places and my dad loves this place but my first experience was not great.

Hometown Italian restaurant ...decades of tradition...pizza,steaks,pasta you name it they've got it...support hometown staples...Cusanellis is a part of our life an hopefully always will be

We celebrated my husbands birthday. Food was great. And so was the serviceWe love picking up pizzas to take home.

The food is almost always delightful (except fish), & the portions are sizeable. I had a 2nd meal when I ordered the deluxe chicken fried chicken the other day. The service is sometimes a bit slow, but the quality of the food makes up for it!

Ive only gotten carryout but friendly quick service. Alot of food and at a great price
